Accordingly, units and companies under MIC will support free broadcasting of lectures appraised by the Ministry of Education and Training on television; free access to all data access fees for students, teachers and teachers related to distance learning programs of education and training.

Free support to use solutions for training and educational management for all 43,000 schools, free server rental service, bandwidth for distance learning for universities. Telecommunications businesses, social networks in Vietnam support texting to students, students, teachers and parents about important notices of the Ministry of Education and Training.

Using information technology to improve education quality

In order to promote online teaching and TV teaching in the time of Covid-19 epidemic, there are 14 television channels broadcasting general education lectures; 92/240 universities are applying online training method. The Ministry of Education and Training has the data of 5000 general education lessons are being exploited and used for free.

The Ministry of Education and Training has issued guidance on ensuring the quality of distance learning during the Covid-19 epidemic prevention period for university and college levels. For high school level, regulations on teaching via internet and teaching on television will also be issued this week, as a basis for localities and educational institutions to organize teaching, testing and evaluation. The results of the education program have been streamlined by the Ministry of Education and Training to suit the situation.

Facing challenges due to the Covid-19 epidemic, Minister Phung Xuan Nha said that in the first phase, the Education Sector had a solution to delay the end of the school year; But up to the present time, with the complicated evolution of the epidemic, the education sector has not only delayed the time but also focused on reviewing and streamlining the program content of the 2nd semester.

Minister Phung Xuan Nha also said that, with a longer strategy, the Ministry of Education and Training will continue with the Ministry of Information and Communications to improve the skills to apply information technology and digital technology in general, especially related to applying technology in teaching via internet, on television, from there, in order to advocate, the cooperation support activities between the two ministries are really practical, effective, creating a breakthrough in the quality of education.
