1. Foundation Date

Hanoi University of Education No.2 was founded on August 14^th , 1967.

2. Mandate

The University offers undergraduate and postgraduate teacher education of high quality, becoming a well-positioned multi-disciplinary trainer in Vietnam’s education system. Teaching programmes focus on theory, practices and access to the new knowledge.

Undergraduate courses leading to a Bachelor''s Degree
(4 years) in Mathematics, Physics, Literature and Linguistics, Biology, Primary Education.

Postgraduate courses leading to a Master''s Degree (2 years) in Primary Expert.

The teaching staff of 261 includes 4 Associate Professors, 37 Doctors, 93 Masters, 137 Bachelors.

The University trains over 1,000 students in regular courses.

6. Relations

The University has developed collaboration with domestic institutions and universities to exchange experiences, faculty, staff, academic information and materials and to develop joint research projects.

Since its foundation the University has set up relationships with foreign universities such as Postdam University (Germany), Novoxibirxk University (Russia), etc. Recently, with the purpose of reaching modern teaching methods of the world, the University has carried out working visits and sent cadres for practice in some Asian countries such as Thailand, Malaysia, Republic of Korea, the Philippines and China.
